What the language list means for Arabic speakers
The Xbox Store listing shows menus and subtitles in 13 languages: English, French, Italian, German, Spanish (Spain and Mexico), Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Polish, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified and Traditional Chinese. The voice acting is in English only. Arabic speakers will play with English or another language from that list.
A fan petition asks Rockstar to add Arabic menus and subtitles, but there has been no public response.
Ratings, availability and the “ban” claims
Saudi Arabia rated GTA 6 for players aged 21 and over, its highest category, and the UAE gave it the same 21+ rating. GTA V got that rating too when it was officially released in both countries in July 2025, as Notebookcheck reported. No country-specific content changes have been announced for GTA 6.
In Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and Lebanon, no regulator, Rockstar, Take-Two or Sony has explained why the game isn’t on sale. Posts that went viral in June called it “banned” there. A gaming expert quoted by Bahrain’s Daily Tribune said the notice behind those posts only concerned a PlayStation pre-order offer, a free month of GTA+, which excludes those five countries. We won’t call it a ban unless a regulator or the publisher says so.
Egypt, Jordan and Morocco have no local PlayStation Store. If your account is registered in another country, that store sets your price, currency and unlock time, and registering an account with false country details can break PlayStation’s terms. There is no GTA 6 for phones or PC
GTA 6 comes out only on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. There’s no version for Android or iPhone, and no PC version has been released, so every “GTA 6 APK”, mobile download or PC download is fake and may carry malware or steal your accounts. Buy only from the PlayStation Store, the Microsoft Store, the Rockstar Games Store or a retailer you know.
