GTA 6 price: what the Standard and Ultimate Editions cost by country

Standard or Ultimate Edition?

GTA 6 comes in two editions on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. According to Rockstar’s pre-order announcement, the Ultimate Edition includes everything in the Standard Edition, plus extra vehicles, weapons, clothing, shops and activities that unlock as you play through Jason and Lucia’s story.

Rockstar keeps that description general. Sites that went through its editions page, including GTA BOOM, list specific items such as a ’95 Grotti Cheetah, engraved pistols, extra mod shops and two exclusive side-mission quest lines. That itemized list is reported, not confirmed, so it’s hard to judge yet whether the extras are worth the difference.

If you start with the Standard Edition, you can reportedly buy a digital Ultimate Edition Upgrade from the PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store, and boxed buyers can do the same after using their code. Where we have its price, it’s in the table above.

The pre-order bonus and its deadline

Every edition, digital or boxed, includes the Vintage Vice City Pack if you buy before November 20, 2026. Rockstar gives no time zone for that cutoff, so treat November 19 as the last safe day. The pack reportedly contains a ’55 Vapid Stanier with a garage, retro outfits and hairstyles for Jason and Lucia, and a palm-tree weapon pattern.

Digital pre-orders on the PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store also come with one free month of GTA+, Rockstar’s subscription, although the PlayStation offer isn’t available in every country. Rockstar hasn’t said whether GTA+ will include anything for GTA 6.

Boxed copies, deals and the collector’s box

There’s no disc in the box, only a download code. Our download size and pre-load guide explains what that means for storage and regions. The Ultimate Edition reportedly doesn’t come boxed at all: GameRant quotes Rockstar’s support page as saying no physical version is available, which settles earlier conflicting reports.

Retailers sometimes sell boxed copies below list price, so the table shows store and list prices, not deals. Buy from the PlayStation Store, the Microsoft Store, the Rockstar Games Store or a retailer you know, and be wary of unusually cheap codes from unofficial sellers.

There’s no collector’s edition of the game itself. The Goodtime State: Vice City Collection on the Rockstar Store is a box of merchandise and doesn’t include the game.
