What platforms is GTA 6 on? Yes, no or not announced for each one

PC, Switch 2, cloud and subscriptions

• PC: we track every report on our GTA 6 PC page. Xbox has ruled out streaming to PC, so the cloud won’t shorten the wait. That denial said nothing about other devices, which is why the cloud row stays open.
• Switch 2: Take-Two’s Strauss Zelnick said in 2025 that the company expects to support the console in general, without mentioning GTA 6.
• Subscriptions: Zelnick argued against day-one subscription releases of premium games in 2024. That was a general stance, not a statement about GTA 6, but it’s reason enough not to plan around one.

Phones and PC: every download offer is fake

There’s no GTA 6 to download for Android, iPhone or PC. Any site, app or video offering one is fake, whatever it calls it: APK, beta, demo or PC version. If you’re on PS4 or Xbox One

You’ll need a PS5 or an Xbox Series console, so don’t buy a code until you have one, and ignore anyone selling a PS4 version. Rockstar’s “plays best on PS5” tag comes from its PlayStation partnership and isn’t a technical comparison. No disc drive is needed, because the box holds only a code. Before you buy, check how much storage the game needs and what’s known about frame rates.

Buying it in the Arab world

A supported console doesn’t mean the game is sold where you live. Of the Arab markets we’ve checked, only Saudi Arabia and the UAE have it on local stores. See our Arabic support and availability page.
