Take-Two reports on November 9: what GTA 6 players should listen for

Take-Two Interactive, which owns Rockstar Games, reports its quarterly results on Monday, November 9, after the US market closes. The call starts at 4:30 PM ET (21:30 UTC), with a live webcast on Take-Two’s investor site. It’s the company’s last scheduled update before GTA 6 launches on November 19.
The results won’t show how GTA 6 is selling, because they cover the quarter that ended on September 30, seven weeks before launch. Going by last year’s timing, the first report with launch sales should come in early February 2027. For now, what matters to players is what Take-Two says about the game. This preview isn’t investment advice.
Three things to listen for
- The date. Take-Two listed November 19 in its August results, and Rockstar and Sony repeated it on November 3. We’ve seen nothing that points to a change. Players still pay attention because the second delay came on the same afternoon as Take-Two’s results in November 2025.
- A real pre-order number. So far there isn’t one. In August, CEO Strauss Zelnick called demand “unprecedented and astonishing” without giving figures, and Take-Two declined to share raw numbers. Any count on Monday would be the company’s first.
- Any word on PC or an online mode. Neither has been announced. GamesBeat reported a PC release in the first quarter of 2027, citing four unnamed sources, and Rockstar didn’t respond. Rockstar calls GTA 6 a single-player experience, which doesn’t rule out an online mode later. If neither comes up on Monday, that tells us little: Rockstar announced Red Dead Redemption 2’s PC version only about a month before release.
The forecasts, in plain words
Net Bookings is Take-Two’s headline sales measure. In August, the company forecast $1.62 billion to $1.67 billion for the quarter it’s now reporting, and $8.0 billion to $8.2 billion for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027. That yearly figure is tied to the November 19 launch, so listen for whether Take-Two repeats it.
Why 7.71 million is only an estimate
You may have seen that GTA 6 has about 7.71 million digital pre-orders worth just over $750 million, with about 74% on PS5. Those figures are estimates from analytics firm Sensor Tower, not numbers from Take-Two, Rockstar, Sony or Microsoft.
- The method isn’t explained. Neither Dexerto nor Insider Gaming says how the firm reaches its numbers.
- It isn’t a full count. Dexerto says boxed copies aren’t included.
- The scope is unclear. RockstarINTEL’s October report said the data covered US digital pre-orders only, Insider Gaming describes worldwide revenue, and Dexerto doesn’t say.
Treat it as a rough sign of demand, not a sales figure. If Take-Two confirms anything new on Monday, we’ll add it to our timeline and our PC and online trackers.
