Rockstar added The Launch Gallery to its GTA 6 website on November 5, two weeks before the game comes out. It holds nearly 40 new screenshots and follows the Launch Trailer from October 15. The image above is one of Rockstar’s official screenshots, and the full gallery is on its site.

The set is built around the two leads, Jason and Lucia, and it moves across the state of Leonida. Vice City, the Leonida Keys, Port Gellhorn and the rural Grassrivers region all appear, along with new interiors. GTA BOOM says Rockstar’s original files are 4K (3840 × 2160).

We’re keeping this description general on purpose. The images are Rockstar’s own marketing, not leaks, but they do show moments from the game. If you’d rather go in knowing as little as possible, skip the gallery.

How many screenshots are there?

Outlets don’t agree on the exact count. RockstarINTEL’s headline says 39 while its text says nearly 40. GTA BOOM counted 39, Eurogamer’s headline says 38 and Kotaku’s says nearly 40. The gap is small, so we’re going with nearly 40.

Why the images aren’t on this page

The screenshots belong to Rockstar, and we link to them instead of copying them. The picture at the top of this story is our own graphic, not an image from the game.

A handy check against fakes

The gallery also gives you something to compare against. In April, a fan account apologized after a Take-Two legal letter over AI images styled as leaked screenshots, GTA BOOM reported. Before you believe or share a new GTA 6 image, check whether it’s on Rockstar’s site. If it isn’t, treat it as unverified. Fake downloads play on the same hype, and our scam warning explains how to spot them.
